Excursion to The Golden Rock in 3 days

Today destinations include: the first visit to old colonial building around downtown area of Yangon. Myanmar has the most colonial buildings in Southeast Asia and the best examples are the City Hall, High Court Building with its Clock Tower.
In the afternoon, shopping trip to Bogyoke Aung San (Scott) Market which offers antique, Burmese handicraft and jewelry shops, art galleries, and clothing stores as well as foodstuffs, garments, and foreign goods. The market will close every Monday and Gazetted Holiday in Myanmar. Afterwards, visit to Little India & China Town, enjoy mingling with locals, socked in the vibrant atmosphere, bargain with the shopkeepers for souvenirs and sample the exotic local dishes.
In the evening, visit to Shwedagon Pagoda, is the most popular and spectacular religious monument and 2,600 years old in Myanmar. The golden dome rise 9-meters above its bases and covered with 60 tons of pure gold. Return to hotel for overnight in Yangon.

Breakfast at the hotel. Next, directly drive to Kyaikhtiyo Pagoda known as “Golden Rock” and is one of the most revered Buddhist shrines. Regular car or coaches can reach only Kunpun Base Camp at the foot of the hills, the visitors can go to Yathae Taung by trekking or by open trunk car. Transfer to hotel. The tours continue to The Crow’s Mount Cave and main Pagoda. Upon the top of Golden Rock can enjoy the beautiful sightseeing from this unforgettable site.
In the late afternoon, return back to Yangon. On the way, make a small stop in Bago to visit Shwe Thar Lyaung Pagoda before directly driving back to Yangon for overnight.
