According to the website’s rankings, Tran Quoc pagoda ranked third. The 1,500-year-old pagoda, which is located on a small peninsula on the east side of West Lake, is the oldest of its kindin Hanoi. It was voted by the UK’s Daily Mail as one of 16 most beautiful pagodas in the world. The website also highlighted the attractive beauty of the pagoda’s lakeside setting. The Bodhi tree is one of most beautiful features in Tran Quoc Pagoda. It grew from a cutting taken from the original tree in Boh Gaya in India, under which the Buddha sat and achieved enlightenment.
