DAY 1: ARRIVAL TO HA NOI
You are arriving to our one-thousand-year-old capital of Hanoi. Your guide will welcome you at Noi Bai International Airport and escort you to your hotel in the heart of the city. Overnight stay in Hanoi.
DAY 2: HA NOI GREEN FARM AND HOME HOSTED MEAL (B,L)
Leave crowded Hanoi behind, we will drive to Hanoi’s surroundings, to a peaceful village planting vegetable. Wander around village market, walk to vegetable farms produce varied vegetable for Hanoi, chat with friendly farmers about farming, cultivation techniques are interesting experiences you will have when being here. Also, you will cook Vietnamese traditional dishes together with the hospitable host. Lunch is served with fresh food, fruit, and traditional dessert.
In the afternoon, enjoy quick view of the city including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (view from outside only), Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam (Temple of Literature & Vietnam’s first university),
Later on, take a walking tour of the Old Quarter which is very pulse of Hanoi and it depicts a great story that has endured the challenge of time. Explore the vastness of this tourist magnet, indulge in its timeless beauty and get a closer view to know it better through seeing its messy, crazy, exciting but authentic with deeper encounter to local life. Optional My Village Show
Lang toi, or “My Village”, is a lively mosaic where the poetic beauty of Northern Vietnam’s village life is presented under a new cirque approach with enchanting folk melodies. Farming, fishing, traditional games, villagers gathering and the lifestyle of Northern people are recreated by marvelous acrobatics with bamboo transformations. Join us and let this 60 minute show amaze and entertain you as you enter, in theater, the peaceful and charming villages of Vietnam.

DAY 3: HA NOI – MAI CHAU GREEN VALLEY (B)
You will leave Ha Noi for Mai Chau. Our driver will take you through a beautiful mountainous province of Hoa Binh which is located in the Southwest of the capital of Viet Nam. Four hours on the way, you’ll see gorgeous scenery dotted with limestone and rice paddies while passing several small villages of Muong, Thai, H’Mong, and Dao people.
Descending the last 14km of your first day of the tour on a steep mountain road into the stunning valley of Mai Chau, you will reach village of Thai Ethnic people.
After check in your hotel, take a short rest, then take an easy walk of 1-2 hours around the village and valley. Overnight stay in Mai Chau.
DAY 4: MAI CHAU – PU LUONG (B,L,D)
After breakfast, we will enter Pu Luong Nature Reserve by the road via a breath- taking mountain pass giving you a panoramic view of the whole valley. You arrive at your accommodation in time for a delicious lunch, followed by free time to explore the beautiful retreat, with its captivating panoramic views and tranquil setting.
Water wheels walk and rafting | 2.5 km easy walk – 1.5 hours | 2 km rafting – 1.5 hours
The afternoon, you will be transferred to a suspension bridge over the Cham River, where you begin your walk in search of stunning water wheels. Get up close to each wheel and discover how water is moved from river to handmade bamboo aqueducts via simple constructions of all sizes.
Arriving at a local fisherman’s house, you will have a short rest to gear up for the rafting adventure on the scenic river. Float along the calm river and enjoy the views, in between learning how to paddle and steer your handcrafted rafts. Arriving at scenic Tan Lap Bridge, disembark and drive back to Pu Luong Retreat for dinner. Overnight stay in Pu Luong
DAY 5: PU LUONG- NINH BINH (B,L)
Enthralling trekking routes | 4 km easy walking – almost 3 hours
Get up early to hear the sound of nature and breathe the fresh air. After breakfast at the Lodge, we continue to descend into the beautiful valley facing the Retreat where you’ll walk around tumbling rice terraces. Trek through small paths shrouded in vegetation to slowly reveal a picturesque village sitting at the base of a towering mountain. Continuing to the base of the valley, weave between roads and farmland, villages and wild fields, ponds and rivers, mountains and open land. Savoir the ever-changing scenery as you trek to a beautiful spot and numerous chances to interact with the locals. Then you will be transferred back to Puluong Retreat for lunch.
Then transfer by road to Ninh Binh. Check-in the hotel upon arrival and the rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight stay in Ninh Binh
DAY 6: NINH BINH – TRANG AN ECO TOURISM (B)
Enjoy leisure breakfast at your hotel, then take a short drive Trang An Eco Tourist Preserve. Consisting of 12 caves and 3 temples, Trang An becomes a must for most of tourists travelling to North Vietnam. Rowing through caves and green picturesque lake, you are closest to the nature (use sharing boat) In the afternoon, go back to Tam Coc area for visiting Bich Dong, which was conferred by a King as “Vietnam’s second most beautiful grotto”. Climb up the Ngu Nhac Son (Buddha’s Palm Mountain), be charmed by the marvelous scenery offered by the mountains, rivers and pagodas. Overnight stay in Ninh Binh.
DAY 7: NINH BINH – HA LA LONG BAY (B, L, D)
After breakfast, depart from your hotel in Ninh Binh. Take a 4 hour drive to Ha Long Bay, one of the World Natural Heritages recognized by UNESCO with over 3,000 spectacular limestone islands rising from the clear, emerald sea in the Gulf of Tonkin. Upon arrival, welcome aboard. Enjoy a welcome drink before checking in at your cabin. While the junk is passing many rocky islets, caves, floating villages and beaches, your lunch will be served on board with fresh seafood. Explore Surprise Cave- one of the most beautiful ones in the bay. Free time afterwards for swimming or relaxing on the sundeck. Later on, the junk moves to a quiet area to dock for an overnight stay. Dinner with Vietnamese food is served on board. Overnight stay on the cruise ship.
DAY 8: HA LONG – HA NOI – HUE BY TRAIN (B)
Early morning practice Tai Chi on the sundeck and admire the sunrise. Breakfast or brunch is served while the junk cruises back from Ha Long Bay. Ready to disembark and transfer back Hanoi, in the evening transfer to Ha Noi railway station for night train to Hue. Overnight stay on train.
DAY 9: HUE – COUNTRYSIDE AND BOAT CRUISE (B)
Arrive to Hue in the morning, you’ll be picked up by your tour guide and go to a local restaurant for breakfast. Next, sit on the back of a motorbike is the best way you can see local life and countryside in Hue. The mixture of urban and rural life will fascinate you. Visit the rural villages for its quaint local markets, rice fields, and traditional handicraft. Stop at Thanh Toan Village which has a tile roofed bridge, one of the famous ancient bridges in Vietnam for its old architecture and historical and cultural values. Venture to the city of tomb for a bit more insight of the funeral custom in Vietnam, and visit the tomb of Khai Dinh King, a blend of Western and Eastern architecture. Ride up to Vong Canh Hill for stunning view of the beautiful Perfume River. Keep riding to Kim Long Village where it preserves traditional garden houses.
Go back to your hotel to rest, and in the late afternoon, our private dragon boat will take you upstream the peaceful Huong River to visit scenic Thien Mu Pagoda which is also home to many young people who want to try out and learn from life as a monk. Overnight stay in Hue.
DAY 10: HUE – BACH MA NATIONAL PARK – DA NANG – HOI AN (B,L)
08:00AM check-out from the hotel and transfer to visit Bach Ma National Park
Bach Ma National Park covers an area of over 20,000 hectares of high mountain trails and sweeping valleys, and is home to a wide variety of animals and plants from both the northern and southern areas of the country. Bach Ma offers a range of trails for those interested in wildlife and history, or who simply wish to enjoy the distinctive natural beauty of the park. Today, trek through sub-tropical forest to the Ngu Ho (Five-lakes Cascade) to view natural pools created by the stream and Do Quyen Waterfalls, 300m high and 20-30m wide. Explore streams & waterfalls, flora & fauna, and conquer mountain cliffs along the streams.
Then transfer by road to Hoi An via Da Nang coastal city. Check-in the hotel and the rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight stay in Hoi An
DAY 11: FREE DAY IN HOI AN ANCIENT TOWN
In your fancy in Hoi An and explore the Ancient town on your own.
Optional Cam Thanh Cycling & Boating tour (Half day)
This excursion offers you a closer look into the countryside life in the outskirts of Hoi An Ancient town. Such an amazing experience with first easy bike through picturesque villages, rice fields, graveyard, see water buffalos, water coconut gardens, then meet & talk with local villagers as you meet. Keep riding to the water coconut palm fringed Cam Thanh, enjoy bamboo basket boat rowing on the water coconut river. Go back to your hotel

DAY 12: HOI AN – DA NANG – DEPARTURE (B)
